
This is a great side dish for Asian meals and can be eaten cold or room temperature. A great healthy addition to any Asian meal. It is a versatile dish and any vegetable or ingredient may be added for preference.

Ingredients
250g beansprouts
1 spring onion
Seasonings
1 tablespoon toasted white sesame seeds
1 clove of garlic
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
¼ teaspoon salt (add more depending on taste preference)
Instructions
Remove the root part from the beansprouts.
Rinse the beansprouts well under cold water and drain
Add 1 litre of water to a pot and bring to boil, once boiling, add the beansprouts, ensuring they are covered. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
Drain the beansprouts and set aside.
Cut the spring onion into small pieces.
Grind the sesame seeds
Grate the garlic or use a garlic press
In a bowl, combine all the ingredients for the seasoning together and mix well.
Add the beansprouts and spring onion to the seasoning mix and mix well.
Serve immediately or put in the fridge to serve cold later.
